How to make a super cozy high neck sweater<\/h2>

Cyrcus yarn<\/span><\/strong><\/a> col. Amber 210 g \/ 7.4 oz<\/span>
Cyrcus yarn<\/b> col. Dancer 170 g \/ 6 oz<\/span>
Sierra yarn<\/span><\/strong><\/a> col. Mist 110 g \/ 3.9 oz
<\/span>Knitting needles<\/a><\/b> n\u00b0 10 EU \/ 15 US
<\/span>Knitting needles<\/b> n\u00b0 12 EU \/ 17 US
<\/span>Wool needle<\/a><\/b>
<\/span>4 stitch markers<\/a><\/b><\/span><\/p>

GAUGE<\/b><\/span>
10 cm x 10 cm \/ 4\u201d x 4\u201d
<\/span>15 stitches x 20 rows <\/span><\/div>

<\/span><\/div>
KNIT STITCHES USED
<\/b><\/span>Stockinette stitch:<\/u><\/span>
row 1: knit<\/span>
row 2: purl.<\/span>
Rib stitch<\/u>:<\/span>
row 1: knit 1 and purl 1<\/span>
row 2: knit the stitches as they appear.<\/span>

COLOR COMBINATIONS
<\/b><\/span>All the color combinations are worked in rows of 2:<\/span><\/p>

combination 1: 2 rows of Cyrcus col. Amber<\/span>
combination 2: 1 row of Cyrcus col. Ambra + 1 row of Sierra col. Mist<\/span>
combination 3: 1 row of Sierra col. Mist + 1 row of Cyrcus col. Dancer<\/span>
combination 4: 2 rows of Cyrcus col. Dancer<\/span><\/p>

N.B.<\/b>
Alternate combinations 2, 3 and 4 every 20 rows. Combination 1, as well as being the one with which the work has begun (rib stitch), work the <\/span>stockinette stitch<\/span><\/strong> for another 10 rows.<\/span><\/p>

Making the back <\/span>of the high neck sweater<\/span>
<\/h3>Cast on 54 stitches, rib stitch 1\/1 using <\/span>n\u00b0 10 EU \/ 15 US<\/span> needles for 12 rows.<\/span>
Row 13<\/b>: continue using <\/span>n\u00b0 12 EU \/ 17 US needles <\/span>with stockinette stitch for 10 rows<\/span>
row 23<\/b>: switch to colour combination 2 (then alternate every 20 rows with 3 and 4 as previously written) decreasing a stitch on each side, every 20 rows, until you reach 50 stitches<\/span>
row 38<\/b>: mark the round with a stitch marker on both sides.<\/span>

<\/p>

Continue with the stockinette stitch for 24 rows.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Now, the shaping of the shoulders:<\/span>
row 1<\/b>: *knit together the first 3 stitches of the row and knit the rest
<\/span>row 2<\/b>: knit together the first 3 stitches of the row and purl the rest*<\/span>
Repeat from * to * you\u2019re left with 20 stitches.<\/span><\/p>

At this point move on to the neck and work 35 rows.<\/span><\/p>

Bind off.

Making the front of the high neck sweater<\/span><\/h3>

Work as for the back, but work the initial rib stitch for 6 rows only.<\/span><\/p>

Making of the sleeves<\/h3>Cast on 19 stitches and work the rib stitch 1×1 for 10 rows of color combination 1.<\/span>

<\/p>

From the 11th row work the stockinette stitch and continue for the rest of the sleeve.<\/span>
Row 11<\/b>: work the first selvage and double all the stitches apart from the last one (selvage) to get 34 stitches on the hook<\/span>
row 12<\/b>: purl<\/span>
row 13<\/b>: change colour \u2013 continue working the stockinette stitch with combination 2 until the 32nd row
<\/span>row 14<\/b>: decrease a stitch on each side then keep decreasing a stich every 12 rows until you\u2019ve got 30 stitches
<\/span>row 33<\/b>: change colour to combination 3 for a total of 15 rows.<\/span><\/p>

Bind off.<\/span><\/p>
