So just what is an absolute must-have for every true maker? A waterproof multi-pocket apron of course!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">If you don\u2019t have one yet, fear not, here\u2019s a tutorial for you on how to make your own priceless creating companion.This basic and geometric apron is perfect for those who are into felting, DIY, knitting, embroidery even gardening! Basically, once it\u2019s come into your life you won\u2019t be able to live without it.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Thanks a lot <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Manuel<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">, this accessory is awesome too!<\/span><\/p><br><br><h2 align=\"center\">Making the apron step by step<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><b>MATERIALS<\/b><\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">1m of transparent PVC<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">7m of <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Deluxe Faux Leather Ribbon<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"> col. Indigo h 2.5cm<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Fabric scissors<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Embroidery scissors<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Coloured thread<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Stanley knife<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Set square<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Pencil<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Pattern paper<\/span><br><\/p><br><br><p><b><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">METHOD<br><\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">To make the pattern you can either use an old apron and trace around it or follow the diagram below.<\/span><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/come-realizzare-un-grembiule-in-pvc.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><br><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We\u2019re going to prepare patterns also for the pockets: one for the bib, about 12cm high and 10cm long and a maxi horizontal pocket about 15cm high and 57cm long.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Once the paper pattern is done, place it on the PVC so you can cut around it, either with the scissors or a Stanley knife, but make sure you put something underneath to protect the surface!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Let\u2019s start by hemming all around the pocket on the bib with our Deluxe Faux Leather Ribbon col. Indigo 2,5cm thick and then also hem the two longer sides on the maxi pocket.<\/span><\/p><p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/comerealizzare-un-grembiule-in-pvc.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><br><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Place the pocket where we want it to be on the bib and stitch around the edge of the sides and the bottom but leave the top open.<\/span><\/p><p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/come-realizzareun-grembiule-in-pvc.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><br><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Hem the top of the bib and then the bottom then the lower side edges.<\/span><\/p><p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/come-realizzare-ungrembiule-in-pvc.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><br><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">To make the hem of the waist line we\u2019re going to use about 60cm of Deluxe Faux Leather Ribbon and double stitch it on the edge. Continue sewing even beyond the pvc to make the waist ties.<\/span><\/p><p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/come-realizzare-un-grembiule-inpvc.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><br><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Then we\u2019re going to hem the sides of the bib with 104cm of Deluxe Faux Leather Ribbon, sewing the first 23cm on the right edge, then we\u2019re going to continue beyond the pvc by another 58cm to make the neck strap.
