How to make a giant knitting style hat with our Miss Noodle<\/h2>

MATERIALS <\/b><\/span>
Miss Noodle yarn<\/span><\/strong><\/a> col. Milk g. 140 \/ 4,9 oz<\/span>
Knitting needle<\/b><\/span><\/a> n\u00b0 25 EU \/ 50 US<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

KNIT-CROCHET STITCHES USED <\/b><\/span>
Stockinette stitch: knit 1, purl 1<\/span><\/p>

We decided to use the stockinette stitch, just like we did for the blanket. Our Miss Noodle is so nice as it is, it\u2019s not necessary to use tricky stitches. Less is more!<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

METHOD
<\/b><\/span>Cast on 18 stitches and work the stockinette stitch for 11 rows. Then decrease the crown as follows, keeping in mind that the decrease is done on the right side of the work.<\/span><\/p>

row 12<\/b>: knit 1, knit 2 together and repeat for the whole row<\/span>
row 13<\/b>: purl<\/span>
row 14<\/b>: repeat the <\/span>row 12<\/span>
row 15<\/b>: repeat the <\/span>row 13<\/span>
Bind off by inserting the stitches above the thread.<\/span><\/p>

Sew up the hat.<\/span><\/p>

And that\u2019s it! I\u2019d say there\u2019s still time leftover for our oversized cardigan. Let\u2019s go on then!<\/span><\/p>

How to make an oversized giant knitting style cardigan with our Miss Noodle<\/h2>

MATERIALS <\/b>
Miss Noodle yarn<\/b> col. Mustard 3,06 kg \/ 6.6 lb<\/span>
Miss Noodle yarn<\/b> col. Moss 120 g \/ 4.2 oz<\/span>
Miss Noodle yarn<\/b> col. Milk 120 g \/ <\/span>4.2 oz<\/span>
Knitting needle<\/b> n\u00b0 25 EU \/ 50 US<\/span><\/p>

KNIT-CROCHET STITCHES USED <\/b>
Stockinette stitch: knit 1, purl 1
<\/span>Increase stitch<\/span><\/p>

METHOD
<\/b>Darn by hand as follows:<\/span><\/p>

Cast on 48 stitches of Col. Mustard and work the stockinette stitch for 20 rows.<\/span><\/p>

Row 21<\/b>: divide the stitches of the row into 3 parts (12 – 24 – 12) to work the stockinette stitch separately for 13 rows. There are 34 rows in total.<\/span><\/p>

Darn by hand as per the chart:<\/span><\/p>

Sew the shoulders by darning colour by colour as the example below:<\/span><\/p>

How to make the sleeves of our oversized cardigan<\/h3>

<\/p>

Cast on 14 stitches of col. Milk and work the stockinette stitch for 4 rows.<\/span>
Row 5<\/b>: change colour to col. Moss, increase a stitch at the beginning and at the end of the row.<\/span>
From the row 6 to the 8<\/b>: stockinette stitch with the col. Moss<\/span>
row 9<\/b>: change colour to col. Mustard, increase a stitch at the beginning and at the end of the row (for a total of 18 stitches).<\/span>
From the row 10 to the 12<\/b>: work the stockinette stitch with the col. Mustard.<\/span>
Bind off the stitches and sew the sleeves onto the cardigan.<\/span>
And that\u2019s the cardigan done too! Isn\u2019t it wonderful? I love it.<\/span><\/p>

It\u2019s simple but it\u2019s got that spark about it, sufficiently oversized (if not what kind of giant knitting would it be?) comfy and not to mention how warm and soft it is. All thanks to the Alpaca which our Miss Noodle is made with.<\/span><\/p>
