How to make a crochet bag<\/h2>

METHOD<\/b>
<\/b><\/span>Work the bag in closed rounds with two-color tapestry technique in double crochet stitches. In two-color tapestry technique always change the color of the yarn in the last yarn over of the stitch.<\/span><\/p>

Carry the other yarn inside the stitches throughout the work. Start all rounds with three chain stitches, this will form the first double crochet of the round. Close all rounds with a slip stitch into the third chain.<\/span><\/p>

Round 1<\/span><\/strong>: chain 87 stitches with jade color yarn to begin, work the first double crochet in the fourth chain from the hook, carry the other yarn in the work. Work 1 double crochet the same stitch, continue working 1 double crochet in the next 6 stitches, change to milk color yarn in the last yarn over. Work 12 double crochet, change to jade color yarn, work 18 double crochet, change to milk color yarn and work 12 double crochet. Follow the pattern from the chart, repeat the pattern 3 times (pattern repeat is 30 stitches). Work 6 double crochet with jade color yarn in the last chain, turn and continue working in the other edge of the starting chain (as shown in the first image within the PDF<\/a><\/b>). Close the round with a slip stitch into the third chain
<\/span>rou<\/b><\/span>nd 2<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span> <\/span><\/em>chain 3 to start every round, carry the other yarn in the work. Work 8 double crochet with jade color yarn, change to milk color in the last yarn over. Work 2 double crochet with milk color yarn, change to jade color yarn, work 8 double crochet. Follow the pattern from the chart (refer to the second image in the PDF<\/a><\/b>).<\/span><\/p>

From round 3 to round 48<\/span><\/strong>: follow the pattern from the chart.<\/span>
<\/p>

Round 49<\/span><\/strong>: work a round of single crochet stitches.<\/span><\/p>

Cut yarns and weave in ends.<\/span><\/p>

Stitching up and finishing off<\/h3>

Turn the bag inside out.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Sew a zipper at the top of the bag, sew two cotton ribbons along the handles to prevent the bag from stretching (see the photo). Sew the handles on place using thick thread. Sew a cotton ribbon at the top edge of the bag to cover the zipper. <\/span>Fold the bottom corners and sew a seam by hand. The width of the seam is 12 cm<\/span> <\/span>\/ 4.7″<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

How to create the bag tassel<\/span>
<\/h3>

Work 68 chain stitches with lincoln yarn (add stitches to make the work bigger, remove stitches to make the work smaller). Make sure all stitches are facing you and are not twisted, the chains form a long loop. Attach the loop with a single crochet into the 8th chain from the beginning, work 1 single crochet in the next 7 chains. Work 1 chain, turn, work 1 single crochet in the next 7 stitches, work 60 chains. Make sure all stitches are facing you, attach the loop with a single crochet into the 8th stitch. Continue working with the same pattern as long as your work is big enough, cut the yarns are weave in ends.<\/span><\/p>

Fold the leather ribbon in two, tie a knot in the end, sew it in place in the other end of the tassel. Spead some textile glue in the upper part of the tassel inside the work, then roll the tassel tight <\/span>and sew the end.<\/span><\/p>
