Today is all about the crochet Tweed stitch. A firm, plain stitch that\u2019s easy to do and ideal for a blanket \u2013 perhaps a patchwork one \u2013 a scarf or a maybe even a shawl.<\/span><br><\/p><br><br><br><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We\u2019ve chosen <\/span><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/prodottisch2_eng.php?rep=18&#038;mac=51&#038;cat=211\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Cyrcus<\/span><\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">, one of our Baby Alpaca and Merino yarns, for the crochet Tweed stitch. This yarn has also a slight m\u00e9lange effect therefore making it really \nrefined.<\/span><br><\/p><br><br><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Let\u2019s get started.<\/span><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/comerealizzare-il-punto-tweed-uncinetto.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/p><h2 align=\"center\">How to crochet the Tweed stitch<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Chain a multiple of 2+2 for the foundation chain<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Set-up round:<\/span><\/strong><br><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Forward pass:<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"> skip the last chain done, *insert the hook into the next chain, yarn over and come out of the chain leaving the loop on the hook * start again from * to * to the end of the round. Don\u2019t turn the work over.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Return pass:<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"> yarn over and bind off 1 loop on the hook, *yarn over and bind off 2 loops together *, start again from * to * to the end of the round. Don\u2019t turn the work over.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">1st round<\/span><\/strong><br><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Forward pass:<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"> * simple stitch 1, twisted stitch 1, so taken from left to right and from top to bottom *, repeat from to * to until the last stitch, 1 edge stitch in the last stitch. Don\u2019t turn the work over.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Return pass: <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">as per set-up\nround.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">2nd round<\/span><\/strong><br><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Forward pass<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">: * twisted stitch 1, simple stitch 1 *, repeat from to * to until the last stitch, 1 edge stitch in the last stitch.
