Tutorial to knit the granite stitch

Sailorman yarn<\/a><\/b> col. Milk 100 g \/ 3.5 oz
<\/span>Sailorman yarn <\/b>col. Jade 100 g \/ 3.5 oz
<\/span>Knitting needle<\/b><\/span><\/a> n\u00b0 8 EU \/ 11 US<\/span><\/p>

METHOD
<\/span><\/b>It\u2019s done on a number of even\nstitches.<\/span><\/p>

Row 1, colour A<\/b>: knit 1, * skip 1 purlwise B (= skip 1 purlwise without working it, keeping the thread to the back of the work) *, always repeat from * to *, knit 1 to finish off<\/span><\/p>

row 2, colour A<\/b>:\nknit 1, *skip 1 purlwise B, knit 1 *, knit 1<\/span><\/p>

row 3, colour B<\/b>:\nknit 1, *skip 1 purlwise B, knit 1 *, knit 1<\/span><\/p>

row 4, colour B<\/b>:\nknit 1, * knit 1, skip 1 purlwise B *, knit 1<\/span><\/p>

row 5, colour A<\/b>: repeat from the 1<\/span>st<\/span><\/sup> row.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Start with the stitch that comes before the 1st asterisk, repeat from * to * for all the row and finish off with the stitch that comes after the 2nd asterisk.<\/span><\/p>
