The section on knit stitches continues. Today we\u2019re going to have fun doing the crochet Bud stitch together! This knit stitch is adorable, enhanced with plump seeds just waiting to sprout on a sweater or even a scarf.<\/span><\/p>

We\u2019ve chosen the Vintage yarn,<\/b><\/span> in cotton and alpaca, with a prefaded effect for the Bud stitch. Here it\u2019s in the colour Chocolate but you can find loads of other gorgeous colours on our shop.<\/span><\/p>

Tutorial to crochet the bud stitch stitch<\/h2>

MATERIALS<\/span><\/strong>
Vintage yarn<\/a> <\/b>col. Chocolate 100 g \/ 3.5 oz
<\/span>Crochet hook<\/b> n\u00b0 9 EU \/ M\/N-13 US<\/span><\/p>

METHOD<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>\n

It\u2019s done on a number of\nfoundation chains in multiples of 5 + 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

Row 1<\/b>:<\/span> chain 3, * skip 4 chains from the hook, 1 double crochet in each of the following chains<\/span>
row 2 – 4 – 5<\/b>:<\/span> chain 3, double crochet 1 in each stitch of the previous row<\/span>
row<\/span><\/strong> 3<\/b>:<\/span> chain 3, *double crochet 1 in each of the 4 following stitches, blend 1 [=(1 yarn over on the hook, insert the hook into the stitch below, 1 yarn over on the hook and pull the thread out, pull it to the height of the previous stitch) start again from the part between the round brackets another 4 times, 1 yarn over and bind off all the loops on the hook in one go, 1 chain to close the blend] *, repeat always from * to *, finish off the row with 1 double crochet in each of the last 5 stitches<\/span>
row<\/span><\/strong> 6<\/b>:<\/span> repeat from <\/span>row 2.<\/span><\/p>

Start with the part that comes\nbefore the 1<\/span>st<\/span><\/sup> asterisk, repeat from * to * for all the row and\nfinish off with the part that comes after the 2<\/span>nd<\/span><\/sup> asterisk.<\/span><\/p>\n
