These years see the Beatles break up and farewell us with Let it be, the White Duke reinvents music by giving us wonders such as Life on Mars and Queen come out with the poignant hit, Bohemian rhapsody. During this period of performative art by Marina Abramovic’s in which a literary super cult is published, Il gabbiano Jonathan Livingstone. The years in which Taxi Driver, Gi\u00f9 la testa and A Clockwork Orange make cinematic history. What\u2019s more, in these years there is an explosion of knitted garments, from scarves to swimsuits to leg warmers.<\/span><\/div>

Now that I have given you a lot of reasons to discover or rediscover the 70s and all its unwavering desire to surprise and reform, I\u2019ll leave you to enjoy today’s sweater pattern, super soft and with a slight shimmer as a result of the yarns used: Hokusai and Fluffy. The first is soft and shiny thanks to the viscose, and the latter is super light in mohair and silk.<\/span><\/div>
Perfect to be worn over a pair of jeans or even over a wide and long skirt.<\/span><\/div>

How to knit the back of the geometric sweater<\/h3>

Cast on 78 stitches with US size 5.5 \/ 9 needles and work 13 rows of 1×1 rib stitch.<\/span><\/p>

Continue with No. 6 EU \/ 10 US needles and follow the diagram.<\/span><\/p>

At row n\u00b0 33 place the stitch marker, this marks the point where the sleeve will be attached.<\/span><\/p>

How to knit the front of the geometric sweater<\/h3>

Work the rib stitch as you did the back and then follow the diagram.<\/span><\/p>

At row 33 you have to place another stitch marker.<\/span><\/p>

How to knit the neck of the geometric sweater<\/h3>

Sew the shoulders.<\/span><\/p>

With circular needle n\u00b0 5.5 EU \/ 9 US recommence stitching as follows: 20 stitches on the front, 24 stitches on the back and 6 stitches on each side on the front for a total of 56 stitches then work 1×1 rib stich for 7 rounds.<\/span><\/p>
