I<\/span>n fact <\/span>today <\/span>we are going to learn how to knit the toast stitch. This delicious stitch<\/span> is reminicent of this comfort food loved by all. It has a dense texture redered extremely soft with the use of our Piuma yarn, here in the <\/span>coluor, <\/span>Terra.<\/span><\/p>

Did you know that toast has a thousand variations, <\/span>its roots can be <\/span>traced back to France during the Middle Ages, and that at the beginning of its history it was associated with the expression: drink to the health of? In fact, during celebrations a slice of toasted bread was placed over a <\/span>full<\/span> <\/span>glass of wine. The glass was then passed from person to person, each taking a sip until the glass ended up in the hands of the person being celebrated, who would then finish the wine and eat the slice of toasted bread. Therefore, during that time period, toast was connected to drinking to someone’s health. interesting, isn’t it?<\/span><\/p>

Knitting needles n\u00b0 8 EU \/ 11 US<\/span><\/p>

METHOD<\/span><\/b><\/p>

We work off a number of base stitches in multiples of 3+1.<\/span><\/p>

Row 1 <\/b>we knit from the wrong side<\/b>: Purl all stitches<\/span>
row 2<\/b>: Knit all stitches<\/span>
row 3<\/b>: 1 slip stitch purl wise, *knit 2,<\/span> <\/span>1 slip stitch purl wise<\/span>*, <\/span>always repeat from * to *.<\/span><\/p>

To execute 1 <\/b><\/span>slip stitch purl wise<\/b><\/span>: Insert the needle into the back of the stitch without knitting it, leaving the yarn in front<\/span><\/p>

Row <\/b>4<\/b>: Repeat from row 2.<\/span><\/p>


<\/span><\/p>

Repeat from * to * for the whole row and finish with the stitch following the second *.<\/span><\/p>
