This long-sleeved openwork sweater is light, breathable, and great for spring and summer evenings. The <\/span>openwork <\/span>stitch is elegant and floral-inspired, evenly covering the entire garment.<\/span><\/p>

The choice of Lincoln, in pure cotton, makes the sweater mild, but pleasant sheen. You can wear it for <\/span>both<\/span> special occasions and for informal occasions, in any case you will not go unnoticed! Here, seen in the colour Eyeshadow, which in our opinion has a distinct delicacy. With that being said, on the store there are many other splendid colours to choose from.<\/span><\/p>

Technically, it is worked in the round from the bottom up in a single piece up to the underarm and then continues flat on two separate parts, front and back. The sleeves are picked up later and worked in the round from the shoulder towards the cuff. This project is great fun to knit.<\/span>

We work in the round from bottom to top in one piece up to the underarm. The yoke is worked in two separate parts, front and back, with <\/span>rows<\/span> back and forth. The sleeves are worked in the round starting from the shoulder, after having sewn the shoulders.<\/span><\/p>

How to knit the body of the sweater<\/h3>

With <\/span>needles no.5 EU \/ 8 US c<\/span>ast on 180 stitches, insert the stitch marker at the beginning of the round and close in the round.<\/span><\/p>

From round 1 to 6: knit rib 1\/1.<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>

Knit one round.<\/span><\/p>

Follow the Diagram <\/b>until the piece measures approximately 35 cm \/ 13.8 “<\/span>
<\/p>

How to knit the front of the sweater<\/h3>

At this point the project is divided into two parts, therefore continue working back and forth only for the first half of the stitches (90 stitches).<\/span>
<\/p>

Row 1, right side<\/b>: follow the diagram until the end of the row. Turn over the work<\/span>
row 2, wrong side<\/b>: <\/span>follow the diagram until the end of the row. Turn over the work<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until the <\/span>diagram <\/span>has been <\/span>replicated<\/span> 6\/7 times in total.<\/span><\/p>

Leave these loops hanging.<\/span>

How to knit the back of the sweater<\/h3>

Work as done for the front of the sweater.<\/span>
<\/p>

How to knit the shoulders of the long-sleeved sweater<\/h3>

Sew, with an invisible seam, 26 stitches for each shoulder joining the front with the back.<\/span><\/p>

Leave 38 central stitches on hanging (both front and back) for the neck.<\/span><\/p>

How to knit the sleeves of the sweater<\/h3>

Using needles No. 5 EU \/ 8 US pick up 81 stitches along the armhole, insert the stitch marker at the beginning of the round in the underarm and resume working in the round.<\/span>
<\/p>

Knit one round.<\/span><\/p>

Follow the <\/span>diagram <\/span>until it has been repeated a <\/span>total of<\/span> 9 times.<\/span><\/p>

Knit 2 rounds.<\/span><\/p>

Decreasing r<\/b><\/span>ounds<\/b>: evenly distributed 39 decreases.<\/span>
<\/p>

How to knit the hem of the long-sleeved sweater<\/h3>

From round 1 to round 12<\/b>: * knit 1 and purl 1 *, repeat from * to * until the end of the round.<\/span><\/p>

Gentle close all the links.<\/span>
<\/p>

Repeat for the second sleeve.<\/span>
<\/p>

How to knit the neck of the long-sleeved sweater<\/h3>

Put the 38 back stitches and 38 front stitches left hanging on needle size 5 EU \/ 8 US. Insert the marker and work in the round. Now you have 76 stitches on the needles.<\/span>
<\/p>

Round 1: <\/b>knit all stitches<\/span>
<\/p>

from round 2 to round 4<\/b>: * knit 1, purl 1 *, repeat from * to * until the end of the round.<\/span>
<\/p>

Close all the stitches.<\/span>
<\/p>

Insert all the threads. Wash and fix the garment.<\/span><\/p>
