We specialize in needle felting supplies, the perfect fibers for needle felted sculpture, instructional kits, and original Sarafina tools. Each of our products is created, designed and delivered with attention to detail and a sense of humor. Whether you are a hobby felter, professional fiber artist or collector, we have what you need for heartfelt fun.<\/span><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dhgshop.performize.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/sarafina-fiber-art.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><br><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>How and why did you start this business?<\/b><\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">I have a background in fine art, oils and pastels. When I discovered needle felting in 2008, the pendulum slowly transitioned from painting to felting. Realizing that the medium, techniques, and tools were still quite young, I saw the opportunity to expand beyond my own two hands and attic by providing instruction and selling supplies. We are now 20 hands and 5,000 square feet!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Why did you choose to be a DHG reseller?<\/b><\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">When I came across DHG, I knew I wanted to create a relationship with this company. I appreciate your well curated colors, high quality fibers, excellent service, company culture, and over all professionalism.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>How do you build trustworthy relationships with your customers?<\/b><\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The Sarafina community is as much a part of my business as the sales. We have a well established youtube channel where 90% of our instructional content is free. We have an active role in our social media group where we can engage with our patrons and share our creations with each other. We take great pride in our customer service and enthusiasm for the art form overall.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>Do you like the craft world, why?<\/b><\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The world of creativity is my world. What I love about it is seeing anyone and everyone bring forth a vision that would not have existed without them. I love the process, the people, the products, the infinite possibility. Haha I could go on and on!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><b>What sets you apart from other resellers?<\/b><\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">I am not familiar with what all other retailers are doing or how they operate, but I know that all of our endeavors at Sarafina begin with creative inspiration. The viability for the business, although it must coexist, comes second. Because of my art background the business is also founded in my desire to teach art, not just sell the supplies. Sarafina is also all that it is because of each staff member contributing their strengths.
