This stitch is perfect for knitting a hat, blanket, or a stole.<\/span><\/p>

The yarn <\/span>chosen<\/span> for this stich <\/span>is our Hokusai. Soft and shiny, with a hefty percentage of alpaca.<\/span><\/p>

Tutorial: how to knit the netting stitch
<\/h2>

HokusaI yarn<\/a><\/b> col. Turtledove 100 g \/ 3.5 oz<\/span>
Knitting needles n\u00b0 6 EU \/ 10 US<\/span><\/p>

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY<\/b><\/span><\/p>

METHOD
<\/b><\/span>We work off a number of base stitches in multiples of 8+5.<\/span><\/p>

From row 1 to row 3<\/b>: <\/span>*knit 1, 3 slip stitches purlwise, knit 4*, always repeat from * to * for the entire row and finish with knit 1, <\/span>3 slip stitches purlwise<\/span> and knit 1.<\/span><\/p>

To carry out 1 slip stitch purlwise<\/b>: <\/span>pass the stitch on the right needle, without working it, taking the thread from the wrong side and leaving it in front.<\/span><\/p>

Riga 2<\/b>: <\/span>purl 1 row, knit 3 stitches, purl 1, *purl 4, 3 <\/span>slip stitches knitwise<\/span>, purl 1*, always repeat from * to * for the entire row.<\/span><\/p>

To carry out 1 slip stitch knitwise<\/b>: <\/span>pass the stitch on the right needle, without working it, taking the thread from the wrong side and leaving it behind.<\/span><\/p>

Row 4<\/b>: Purl
from row 5 to row 7<\/b>: <\/span>*knit 5, <\/span>3 <\/span>slip stitches purlwise<\/span>*, repeat from * to * for the entire row and finish with knit 5
