Today we are going to learn how to make an oversized crochet sweater, which you can use for all seasons. Worn by itself during the warmer months and with a nice shirt underneath in the cooler months. We have chosen the fishbone stitch, because of its fun and easy nature. The star yarn, however, is Ortica, a yarn with only two elements in its composition: cotton and nettle fibre, soft and tenacious at the same time. These two fibers together make any garment breathable and therefore pleasant on the skin. Hurray for fibers of natural origin!<\/span><\/p>

The sweater is worked flat and is made up of 2 pieces, the back and the front. The shoulders are slipped, forming a short sleeve. After sewing, the edges are finished with single crochet.<\/span><\/p>

How to crochet the front of your sweater<\/h3>

With crochet hook n\u00b0 5.5 EU \/ I\/9 US cast on 60 chain stitches and work in double fishbone stitch for a total of 36 (39) rows, equal to 45 (49) cm \/ 17.7″ (19.3″). For the neckline, continue working only on the first and last 16 stitches, decreasing 2 more stitches on each side. Continue until 50 (54) cm \/ 19.7″ (21.3″) total height. Bind off.<\/span><\/p>
