Our answer is that a pure wool knitted sweater in stockinette stitch is the perfect choice when you don\u2019t feel like thinking too much about your outfit. A well-made sweater and you\u2019re set, no worries.<\/span><\/p>

What we offer here has an extra touch: it\u2019s made with Piuma yarn in pure merino wool and comes in a printed version that gives the garment a very special look that won\u2019t go unnoticed.<\/span><\/p>

All that\u2019s left is to start the pattern.<\/span><\/p>

Tutorial for knitting a crop sweater<\/h2>

12.5 stitches and 15 rows<\/span><\/p>

KNITTING STITCHES USED

Purl<\/span>
Twisted knit<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
knit the stitch in the back loop of the stitch below.<\/span>
1×1 Rib:<\/span>
alternate 1 knit stitch and 1 purl stitch on both right and wrong sides.<\/span>

Using knitting needles n\u00b0 7 EU \/ 10\u00bd US, cast on 55 (61, 65) stitches.<\/span><\/p>

Row 1<\/span><\/b>: Repeat (1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch) until the last stitch, knit the last stitch<\/span>
row 2<\/span><\/b>: Purl the first stitch, repeat (1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch) until the end of the row.<\/span><\/p>

These two rows establish the 1×1 rib for the bottom edge; repeat them 4 more times, reaching row 10, which measures 6 cm \/ 2.4″.<\/span><\/p>

Row 11<\/span><\/b>: knit 7 (7, 8) stitches, repeat [M1, knit 7 (8, 8) stitches] until the last 6 (6, 9) stitches, M1, then knit the remaining 6 (6, 9) stitches<\/span>

How to knit the front of the crop sweater<\/h3>

Using knitting needles 7 EU \/ 10\u00bd US, cast on 55 (61, 65) stitches and work as for the back until row 64 (68, 70), measuring 42.5 (44.5, 46.5) cm \/ 16.7″ (17.5″, 18.3″).<\/span><\/p>

Row 65 (69, 71)<\/span><\/b>: knit 23 (25, 25) stitches, bind off the next 16 (18, 22) stitches for the neckline, knit the remaining 23 (25, 25) stitches<\/span>
row 66 (70, 72)<\/span><\/b>: purl the 23 (25, 25) stitches on the second side. Now continue only on this second side, leaving the first side\u2019s stitches on a stitch holder<\/span>
row 67 (71, 73)<\/span><\/b>: knit the first 2 stitches, decrease 1 stitch for the neckline by working an SSK, knit to the end of the row<\/span>
row 68 (72, 74)<\/span><\/b>: purl across<\/span>
rows 69-72 (73-76, 75-78)<\/span><\/b>: repeat rows 67 and 68 (71 and 72, 75 and 76) two more times. Bind off.<\/span><\/p>
