The knitting accessory we\u2019ll learn to make today is very fun because it can be used either as a bow for the neck or as a belt. Super easy to make, it will give a boost to your outfits. Its length allows for a very wide and really dramatic bow.<\/span><\/p>

Here we paired the bow with a cardigan with worked sleeves made with Piuma yarn in the Monet color<\/a><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

The chosen yarn is God Save The Cashmere, made from recycled cashmere. Before starting the bow, choose your favorite color from our store.<\/span><\/p>

Tapestry needle<\/span><\/p>

GAUGE \u2013 STOCKINETTE
<\/b><\/span>10 cm x 10 cm \/ 4″ x 4″<\/span>
20 stitches and 25 rows<\/span><\/p>

STITCHES USED
<\/b><\/span>Knit<\/span>
Purl<\/span>
Vivagno stitch<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
on the right side, slip the stitch knitwise; on the wrong side, purl the stitch.<\/span>
1\/1 Rib<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
alternate 1 knit stitch and 1 purl stitch on both right and wrong sides.<\/span>
Stockinette stitch<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>

Using crochet hook size n\u00b0 3 EU \/ 3 US, cast on 20 stitches.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/p>

Row 1<\/span><\/b>: work 1 Vivagno stitch, then repeat (1 knit, 1 purl) until the last stitch, work 1 Vivagno stitch<\/span>
row 2<\/span><\/b>: repeat row 1. You\u2019ve completed the 1\/1 rib border<\/span>
row 3<\/span><\/b>: work 1 Vivagno stitch, knit to the last stitch, work 1 Vivagno stitch<\/span>
row 4<\/span><\/b>: work 1 Vivagno stitch, purl to the last stitch, work 1 Vivagno stitch.<\/span><\/p>

Rows 3 and 4 establish the stockinette stitch with Vivagno stitch at the beginning and end of the row. Repeat them until you reach 115 cm \/ 45.3″ total height or your desired length. Now work rows 1 and 2 for the 1\/1 rib border, then bind off. Fold the strip widthwise in half and sew the sides along the Vivagno stitch.<\/span><\/p>
