Knitting bandana tutorial<\/h2>

Knitting needles size n\u00b0 4 EU \/ 6 US<\/span>
Tapestry needle<\/span><\/p>

GAUGE \u2013 STOCKINETTE
<\/b><\/span>10 cm x 10 cm \/ 4″ x 4″<\/span>
18 stitches and 26 rows<\/span><\/p>

STITCHES USED
<\/b><\/span>Knit<\/span>
Purl<\/span>
Twisted knit<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
knit the stitch through the back loop.<\/span>
Vivagno stitch<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
on the right side, slip the stitch knitwise; on the wrong side, purl the stitch.<\/span>
Knit increase<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
lift the strand between the worked stitch and the next and knit one twisted stitch into it.<\/span>
Stockinette stitch<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>
row 1: knit<\/span>
row 2: purl<\/span>
Repeat rows 1 and 2.<\/span>
Slip, knit, pass slipped stitch over<\/span><\/u>:<\/span>

row 2<\/span><\/b>: 1 Vivagno stitch, 1 purl stitch, 1 Vivagno stitch<\/span>
rows 3 and 4<\/span><\/b>: repeat rows 1 and 2<\/span>
row 5<\/span><\/b>: 1 Vivagno stitch, 1 knit increase, knit to last stitch, 1 knit increase, 1 Vivagno stitch<\/span>
row 6<\/span><\/b>: 1 Vivagno stitch, purl to last stitch, 1 Vivagno stitch<\/span>
row 7<\/span><\/b>: 1 Vivagno stitch, knit to last stitch, 1 Vivagno stitch<\/span>
