Today we\u2019re going to learn how to make a double‑sided cushion using the wet felting technique with Bergschaf wool and viscose, together with Eva Basile, felt expert and master weaver.<\/span><\/p>

This cushion combines the strength of wool with the sheen of viscose fiber. Thanks to Bergschaf, which is not only easy to work with but also extremely strong, the cushion becomes very durable and ready to stand the test of time.<\/span><\/p>

As you\u2019ll see in the video, Eva laid out the colored Bergschaf and worked it by hand until it reached a consistency that allowed her to cut into the surface. In fact, she created what is generally called prefelt. This way she was able to cut out shapes that resemble small eyes, bringing to life a beautiful decoration that is above all double‑sided, because what she cuts from the first side of the cushion is then used on the second side. In this way nothing is wasted and two completely different sides are obtained from the same prefelt.<\/span><\/p>
