Today we\u2019ve got a special pattern for you: a frac-style vest, meaning a vest with a longer back. This is the main feature we really wanted to highlight in this piece. We absolutely love it. The extra touch that makes it truly special, though, is the yarn: Luce, crafted with a very particular artisanal technique that combines our Piuma yarn with a fine lam\u00e9 thread. How to work the back<\/h3>

With knitting needles n\u00b0 7 EU \/ 10\u00bd US cast on 67 (73, 79) stitches.<\/span><\/p>

Row 1<\/span><\/b>: (wrong side) purl the first stitch, repeat (1 stitch in knit, 1 stitch in purl) to the end of the row<\/span>
row 2<\/span><\/b>: (right side) knit the first stitch, repeat (1 stitch in purl, 1 stitch in knit) to the end of the row<\/span>

How to work the finishing<\/h4>

Sew one shoulder seam. For the neckband, with knitting needles n\u00b0 7 EU \/ 10\u00bd US pick up an even number of stitches all around the front and back neckline and work 6 rows in 1×1 rib. Fasten off. Sew the neckband and the other shoulder seam. For the armhole bands, with knitting needles n\u00b0 7 EU \/ 10\u00bd US pick up an even number of stitches all around each armhole, starting and ending at the underarm, and work 6 rows in 1×1 rib. Fasten off. Close the armhole bands, then sew the sides for 12 (12, 13) cm \/ 4.7″ (4.7″, 5.1″) up from the underarm: the remaining centimetres of the sides stay open to form the side slits (remember that the back is longer than the front). With crochet hook n\u00b0 7 EU \/ K-10\u00bd US finish the side openings by working 1 row in crab stitch.<\/span><\/p>
