Hokusai<\/strong> is a contemporary yarn that is the result of a combination of viscose, alpaca and merino wool<\/strong>, a combination designed to achieve lightness, softness and a special surface brightness. \nHokusai is a soffilo <\/strong>i.e., a special type of yarn made by blowing the fibers inside a very fine knit tubular. This unique construction results in an incredibly soft, light and fluffy yarn. The fibers are trapped gently in the tubular, with the ends protruding slightly, creating an elegant “halo” effect.
