Loading...Cashmere tops represents one of the most valuable and sought-after fibers in the global textile scene, obtained from the very fine undercoat of Hircus goats raised in the mountainous regions of Central Asia, including Mongolia, China and the Himalayan highlands. The fiber is selected during natural moulting and carefully combed to preserve maximum purity. The tops processing, with perfectly aligned fibers, ensures continuity, regularity and excellent workability, making this material ideal for spinning, weaving and fiber art techniques that require extreme softness and superior performance.
Availability and packaging
Our cashmere tops are available in packages of 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg per color. Each package has a natural tolerance of ±3% and contains cashmere in continuous tape. The different packages are designed for both those who need small quantities and those who need large quantities and/or want to save money.
For non-ECE shipments, the packages are vacuum-packed, reducing volume and lowering shipping costs. Don’t worry: once opened, the fiber returns to its original, fluffy volume with no loss of quality.

Cashmere is an ultrafine fiber obtained from the undercoat of the Hircus goat, with a diameter generally between 14 and 19 microns. It is characterized by a very soft, slightly wavy structure, with fine, closely spaced cuticular scales that result in itsextreme softness. Lightweight, flexible and naturally heat-insulating, it is a fiber of the highest value valued for its uniformity and tactile quality.
Cashmere fiber comes mainly from the mountainous regions of Central Asia, particularly Mongolia, China and areas of the Himalayas, where Hircus goats live in extreme climatic conditions. Harvesting takes place during the natural spring molt, when the fine undercoat is combed and sorted by hand to separate it from the coarser hair. This traditional harvesting practice, still widely used today, is deeply linked to local communities and ensures the availability of one of the world's finest fibers.
