Loading...Cozy is a yarn with a soft and cozy character, designed to provide an immediate feeling of comfort and a full but light visual performance. Its structure comes from the combination of cotton and a technical polyamide component, which together build a balance between naturalness and performance. The cotton imparts breathability, freshness and a pleasant hand in contact with the skin, while the technical fiber introduces elasticity, strength and stability into the shape of the yarn. This combination results in a bulky but not heavy material that can maintain good stitch definition while remaining soft and snug. It is also extremely easy to work with.

Our Cozy is available in 100 g balls that can be purchased individually. Each package has a natural tolerance of ±3%.

Cozy cotton yarn is worked with very thick needles and crochet hooks, from 10 EU / 15 US upwards, but is also suitable for weaving and embroidery projects. Perfect for making, blankets, rugs, pillows and baskets. But not only that! Try it for oversize bags, clothing and jewelry.
With needles: it is suitable for shirred knitting and other smooth, uncomplicated work.
Withcrochet: the low knit is used to obtain a very compact result. To lighten it, you can work it by taking only the half knit underneath, that is, by crocheting into only one of the two loops that form the top of the knit.
With the loom: we worked the yarn with a 20:10 comb-loom (2 threads/cm). It is a yarn that was not born for weaving, but it weaves well and the final effect is pleasant. Working it in weft requires splicing the yarns appropriately; however, it remains very difficult to hide any weft changes. The end result is a compact, clean and voluminous surface. Ideal for bags, baskets and other types of containers.
Tips for working and care.
Our colors generally have high light fastness and wash fastness. Exceptions are fluorescent colors, which have low light fastness and may release color in the presence of alkaline or harsh soaps and with prolonged washing. The same applies to dark, bright colors. In all these cases, it is essential to test a small sample before starting the project, especially if these materials are combined with raw or light-colored fibers. In any case, it is always a good idea to dry artifacts away from direct sunlight, preferably in semi-shade.
A practical tip: Buying balls or spools of different baths can cause what is known as the barred effect: subtle variations in shade that seem invisible when comparing balls and spools, but become apparent once worked. Therefore, always be sure to buy some yarn in excess of what is needed for your project. We will be sure to send you spools and balls of the same lot.
