The weight of the packages has a physiological tolerance of +/- 3%; quantities within these packages are sent in continuous tape.
Our fine merino wool tops are sourced from both Australia and South America and are carefully selected so you can be assured of consistent quality over time.
In addition, being of animal origin, fine merino wool tops are biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly.
All lots are MULESING FREE. The dyes comply with the parameters Oeko Tex Standard 100 and are made in our dyehouse in Italy, which is certified by GOTS (updated to the latest version in progress) and GRS.
Our extra fine merino wool tops are perfect for l´ needle felting, for thewater felting, for spinning, the hand weaving, for arm and giant knitting.
CAUTION: All of our colors tend to have high light fastnesses and wash fastnesses. However, the fluorescent colors (80's collection) in addition to having low light fastness, in the presence of alkaline or very aggressive soaps and prolonged processing/washing, may show a loss of color also important, this can also happen for dark and bright colors. Therefore, for materials dyed with these types of colors, we recommend that a trial processing and washing of a small sample be carried out before proceeding with the final design. This is absolutely essential in case these materials are combined with raw or light-colored materials. In addition, it is a good idea never to dry artifacts in direct sunlight but in semi-shade.
