As soft as cashmere, as luminous as silk: soy fiber represents a new idea of luxury, natural and conscious. Born from the transformation of a living and nourishing material, this fiber surprises with its discreet elegance and extraordinary sensoriality. A contemporary material, capable of combining comfort, refinement and innovation in every textile creation. Top preparation enhances the fiber’s length and quality, making it ideal for fine spinning, blending for felting purposes and contemporary textile processing.
Availability and packaging
Our soybean tops are available in packages of 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg per color. Each package has a natural tolerance of ±3% and contains continuous ribbon fiber. The different packages are designed for both those who need small quantities and those who need large quantities and/or want to save money. For non-ECE shipments, the packages are vacuum-packed, reducing volume and lowering shipping costs. Don’t worry: once opened, the fiber returns to its original volume, with no loss of quality.

Soy cashmere is a protein fiber made from soy proteins, transformed through bioengineering processes into textile filaments. It is extremely soft, smooth and enveloping to the touch, so much so that it is often referred to as "vegetable cashmere" because of its delicate and comfortable hand. It has a natural silk-like luster, excellent breathability and good moisture wicking capacity, as well as antibacterial properties and high comfort on the skin.
Soybean fiber originates from the recovery of food processing waste from the legume-particularly husks and protein residues-transformed into an innovative textile material. This process represents a virtuous example of a circular economy, in which a waste resource is valorized and reinserted into a new production chain.
Modern soybean fiber production was developed in the late 1990s in China, now the main technological hub for this type of fiber, thanks to advanced processes that have made the material stable, durable and suitable for textile use. Soybean cultivation, which is widespread globally, generally requires little pesticide use and contributes to soil fertility through its ability to fix nitrogen, strengthening the fiber's sustainable profile.
Our soybean tops are perfect for theneedle felting, forwater felting, for spinning, the hand weaving.
