Today is earth Day. A truly special day as we reflect on the earth’s beauty. Though, it’s also important to stop for a moment and think about what we can do to take care of this planet on which we so dearly depend.

This year we have decided to celebrate the earth in two different ways. firstly, by creating a forest using Treedom, an e-commerce platform that allows you to plant trees all around the world so as to help in the fight against deforestation, but not only this. To us this seems like an admiral way to thank and take care of our wonderful earth that gifts us life each and every day.

The second undertaking has been to ask Alyssa Ki aka Solipdiy, to create on of her incredible floral wall hangings. Created with a selection of fibres and yarns chosen by this completely original korean-American artist who resides in New Jersey.

The inspiration for this project is a botanical theme, nothing could be more appropriate to celebrate this day. Alyssa has incorporated the different fibres and yarns using a range of techniques including: hand weaving, macrame, crochet and felting.
