Sweater Day: knitting project with leftover yarn

Saving energy and being mindful of sustainability are increasingly urgent issues. Sweater Day, therefore, remains an important opportunity to turn down those thermostats and keep warm by wearing a nice, super-warm sweater.

This is why today we are offering you the inspiration for a sweater made with our Piuma yarn in pure merino wool and Oeko-Tex certified which, to be even more sustainable, was made with only leftovers. The result was a really cool freestyle piece!

This sweater is perfect worn over a pair of dark jeans and, to finish the look, we recommend an oversized black coat.

The knitted sweater is quite simple.

It’s in stockinette stitch and you can learn this stitch, or refresh your memory, with this video of ours:

And now it’s time to start your own sweater!
